Test Results
Blood tests can check for different things depending on your symptoms, any conditions you have, and any medicines you are taking and there are lots of different types of blood test.
The best way to find out your results is via the NHS app.
You can see detailed reports on the results and compare the results to previous tests. Plus, you can see what your GP has ‘commented’ on the findings.
Depending on what the GP has written you’ll be able to work out if a follow up appointment is needed.
For example, the GP might write - ‘abnormal, follow up within a month’.
Once you see this, you then know to request an appointment with us.
Likewise, the GP may write, ‘Normal, continue regime’, depending on what test was done, you might know to continue to take your medication as prescribed, or continue with the food pattern that was recommended.
On the app you can see results from not only Canbury & Berrylands Surgery, but also results from hospital appointments, including scans and tests.
